Data about players of the game
We use no cookies and no analytics tools.
When you play, we send the server the cell and the player you choose, with no identifier of yours, to compute each answer's rarity and to count how many games are finished each day.
Your progress (games, streak, cards, missions and preferences) is stored only in your browser.
In practice mode we also send the cell and the player to check it, but nothing is stored.
In link duels, the server keeps that room's game (board, turns and score) and a random code per player, with no personal data. The room is deleted after 24 hours without activity.
In Pro by clues and in the daily score, your browser sends your guesses and some codes signed by the server, with nothing that identifies you; the server only stores, per day, how many people got each score, to work out the “better than X%”, and a random number for each finished game, which says nothing about who played, so that it is not counted twice; that number is deleted after two days.
Hosting
The website is served by Cloudflare, which acts as a processor and sees your IP address to deliver the page. We do not store it; Cloudflare may keep it for a while in its technical logs. The IP address is also used, without being stored, to count requests and stop abuse (Cloudflare does the counting).
Cloudflare may process data in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Professional players
We use public data about their professional careers: nickname, aliases, nationality, roles, teams and dates, titles and teammates, and, when available, a freely licensed photo.
The data comes from Leaguepedia (CC BY-SA 3.0). We do not use birth dates, earnings or sanctions. We never show or publish legal names: they are only used internally to tell players apart and, later on, to find their photo.
Legal basis: legitimate interest in offering an informative and cultural game about public careers. We keep the data while the player is part of the game.
Rights
Any player can object, ask for a correction or ask for their photo or name to be removed by writing to alvarogarrido600@gmail.com. We act on it in the next data update.
A complaint can also be lodged with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
